Casual on First Night Out in Canada (1st July 2011)

After dazzling many in a lacy-sleeved dress upon her arrival on Thursday afternoon, June 30, Kate Middleton got more casual on her first night out in Canada. Attending an informal reception for young Canadian volunteers in Ottawa, the wife of Prince William wore a black and white Issa wrap dress with birds print.

The Duchess of Cambridge completed her casual look with wedge-style sandals for the dinner taking place at the Governor-General's 175 room mansion, Rideau Hall. The Issa number was her third dress of the day. When she boarded plane at London's Heathrow Airport earlier on Thursday, she put on a navy blazer by Canadian designer Smythe Les Vestes, over a navy Manon dress by Roland Mouret.

Before she and William touched down in Canada, Kate traded the ensemble with a midnight-blue, lacy-sleeved dress by Erdem Moralioglu, who is based in London, but was born in Montreal. For her arrival look, the 29-year-old kept her accessories simple. She paired up the dress with nude patent platform pumps and a coordinating clutch bag.

As for the Thursday night event, Kate and William joined 120 young people at an informal barbecue dinner, which was moved inside the Tent Room because of sudden rain showers. PEOPLE reported that when the duchess spoke to a table, one of them asked her if she and her husband were worn out from the day of traveling. To which, she replied, "We are fine, not too bad."

Kate and William are set to take part in Canada Day celebrations, which mark Canada's 144th Birthday, in Ottawa on Friday, July 1 before heading to Montreal on Saturday, July 2 for the Montreal Jazz Festival.

Prince William and Kate Middleton arrive in Canada (1st July 2011)

Royal fashion icon Kate Middleton's fashion choice for her eleven-day royal tour of California and Canada has been a hot topic of discussion in the last few weeks.
Many top designers across the world vied with each other in order to get the privilege of dressing one of the most watched women in the world.
However, as the 29-year old Duchess arrived at the Macdonald-Cartier International Airport in Ottawa, Canada, she demonstrated once again her ability to make the right fashion statement at the right place. Not only was her choice stylish but also diplomatic as she opted for a navy-blue lacy dress by Erdem.
Based in London, Canadian-born designer Erdem Moralioglu is known for exquisite creations. Erdem has dressed some of the most famous women in the world including Michelle Obama, Sarah Brown and Samantha Cameron apart from a number of Hollywood stars.
The navy-blue dress that the Duchess wore was from Erdem's 2012 resort collection which she complimented with her nude platform pumps and a simple clutch bag.

Flight to Ottawa (30th June 2011)

And she’s off! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge set off for Canada today for their North American tour. It marks the newlyweds’ first official trip together and will be Kate Middleton’s first ever visit to the US. She looked conservative yet chic as can be as she boarded the Royal Canadian Air Force plane at Heathrow today in all navy–a slim navy sheath, navy blazer, navy leather bag and navy stilettos.
Taking a tip from Mrs. O, who often makes a point to wear designers from the countries she visits or is hosting (except for that sticky situation whenshe wore McQueen to the China State Dinner), Kate Middleton decided to wear a blazer from six-year-oldCanadian label Smythe Les Vestes for her trip to Canada (Smythe confirmed it was theirs  via Twitter). The blazer was on sale at Net-a-Porter for $281 (originally it was $595) but, you guessed it, it has already sold out. It’s still available at Bergdorf’s and Neiman’s.
Kate Middleton often wears items from the high street that retail at fairly low price points but this ensemble is a bit more high end. She’s toting Mulberry‘s Polly Push Lock bag in midnight shiny grain which retails for $1,300 ($1,450 with tax), and we just received confirmation that she’s also wearing a Roland Mouret sheath (a style game changer for fellow royal Princess Beatrice). According to Canada’s National Postshe’s finished off her look with Manolos. Nicely done.

Wimbledon (27th June 2011)

Kate Middleton and Prince William attended the June 27 Wimbledon match between national hero Andy Murray and France's Richard Gasquet -- and, as you might imagine, most eyes were equally fixed on the royal couple as they were on the match.

Seated in the Royal Box, just in front of Billie Jean King, the AP reports Will and Kate received a "warm ovation" from the crowd as they were being seated.

And it was before they took their seats that cameras were able to get a lens-ful of Middleton's sharp dress. The pleated off-white ensemble, from Temperley London's Spring 2011 line, includes three tiers and stops just short of the knee.

Middleton is no stranger to Temperley London. She's worn the designer's dresses to several high profile events -- and sister Pippa even chose a green Temperley gown to wear to the royal wedding.

The victorious Murray also scored a meeting with the newlyweds after play. "If I'd known they were coming, I would have shaved," said Murray. "I was thinking to myself as I came off I was sweaty and very hairy. I said to them, 'I'm sorry, I'm a bit sweaty.'"

Though you can't see the dress very well in most pictures from the match, there are an awful lot of candid moments of the couple being very cute together.

The Duchess of Cambridge looked elegant in Alexander McQueen yesterday as she handed out medals to the 1st Battalion Irish Guards on Armed Forces Day alongside her husband Prince William.

Official photo Canadian trip (3rd June 2011)

The Duchess of Cambridge has recycled another of her outfits - this time for an official double portrait to mark the royal tour to Canada and California.

Kate is pictured with the Duke of Cambridge dressed in the navy blue Amanda Wakeley suit she wore when the couple visited Darwen, Lancashire a few weeks before their wedding.

The formal photograph, taken on June 3, which is likely to feature in Canadian and American newspapers and on official websites, shows the couple in the garden of Clarence House with foliage in the background.

The Duke and Duchess are pictured standing close together with matching coloured outfits an
d smiling broadly.

Kate has her hair down while William looks smart in a dark navy blue suit, light blue shirt and patterned tie.

Their first overseas trip as a married couple will take them to eight cities as they get to know Canada and its people.

They will travel across the Commonwealth nation's vast open spaces from June 30 to July 8, visiting a range of destinations from Charlottetown on the shores of Prince Edward Island in the east, to the remote settlement of Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories.
Highlights of the trip will include Canada Day, celebrated on July 1, when the Duke and Duchess will join hundreds of thousands of people in Ottawa to celebrate the nation.
The couple will also play starring roles on opposing vessels during a dragon boat race and be given the task of steering their team mates to victory across a lake while on Prince Edward Island.

Calgary, their final leg, coincides with the start of the world famous Calgary Stampede - an annual rodeo, exhibition and festival dubbed the "Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth" which they will start.

Prince Philip's Birthday (12 June 2011)

After feteing Queen Elizabeth's 85th birthday and a pal's wedding on Saturday, Duchess Catherine hit yet another public event in rainy, windy London on Sunday. With new hubby Prince William at her side, Kate, 29, attended a service at St. George's Chapel in honor of Prince Philip's 90th birthday. (In addition to Philip and Queen Elizabeth, fellow royals Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla, Zara Phillips, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie were also spotted at the event.)
The cute periwinkle outfit may be familiar to the more studious royal watchers: Kate wore the exact same ensemble at the 2009 wedding of Nicholas van Cutsem, a close pal of William, 29. She also wore the same nude LK Bennett heels that both she and sister Pippa have been wearing out and about of late.
To mark the occasion, Kate wore a blue Jacquard coat dress and a matching fascinator.
But Kate's repeat outfit is not a royal faux pas at all: Queen Elizabeth herself frequently trots out favorite items in her own wardrobe repeatedly
